such as printing press, type foundries, ceramic and pottery
foundries, battery reconditioning shops, garage workers,
mining and smelting plants, silver foundries and refinery,
etc. In some of the units like smelting, printing press,
battery reconditioning shops, refinery etc. the lead exposure
was observed to be higher than the TLV. Appropriate preventive
measures were suggested to minimize the lead exposure in these
industries.
